systems are displaying in the OU based collection-2
Hi,I have created a OU based collection. Also enabled AD system group discovery at the site where the clients are assigned. But collection is populating with only 8 system out 20 in that OU.Discovery is enabled to run every hour.No error in discovery logs. Its required to get all the systems and newly added systems to that collection. Can any one help me with this.thanks in advance. For your reference, my previous query related to this issuehttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/configmgrgeneral/thread/0b182477-6661-484e-bc34-2a91e74dbfc9

First of all I wouldn't run discovery every hour. Maybe that's not your problem but it could be. How long is it taking the discovery to complete? John Marcum | http://www.TrueSec.com/en/Training.htm | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum

Are you saying that there are 2 levels of OUs are missing? So the client is in mydomain.com/OU1/OU2/OU3/OU4/OU5 and ConfigMgr only discovers mydomain.com/OU1/OU2/OU3? Could you give an example of the actual OU the client is in and the collection query?

Hi Torsten,I have created collection for "domain.local/Shipping/HR/Clients/Desktops" OU.Desktops OU has 20 systems in AD out of which only 8 are getting populated in the collection. The remaining 12 system are present in All Systems collection. When i checked the properties of one of these system from all collection there was no AgentName[] listed for AD system group discovery, but for the system which are present in OU based collection there was a entry for AgentName[]=SMS_AD_SYSTEM_GROUP_DISCOVERY.All systems are online
