What is the error you are seeing? Can you also confirm that you imported the SUSE management packs from the installation media's \ManagementPack folder - as opposed to the download\import Management Pack function in the Operations Console? This could be the result of using the R2 MPs for UNIX\Linux on OpsMgr 2012. Thanks Kriswww.operatingquadrant.com

Hi, I also had the same problem working in my small test lab, also with SUSE. I couldn't figure out the root cause of the problem, but concluded it had nothing to do with the Linux machine. You can observe that by simply turning it off or removing it from the network before requesting the installation. It will fail the same way. It does not even try to contact the machine. My workaround for that: I manually installed the agent and then did the discovery. Instead of installing the agent, the option was to manage it (since it already had the client). It worked :) Hope this helps
