suggestion for Load Balanced URL
hello, can someone explain to me what url name i have to fill in the Load Balanced URL? if i choose the default one will that be the name of my web application? my default is the sever name and port name that is not a nice name :(

Using server name as a Site name is not good practice. Use something like mycompanyportal.com for site/NLB cluster address. Try to avoid using port number. Use host headers and port 80. Oleg

and what to i have to fill in the application pool? do i have to create a new one? and which username and password do i have to use? i'm new whit this that why i have so many question :S

NLB has a cluster IP. This is external virtual IP for NLB cluster. You have to add an alias to DNS lake mycompanyportal.com pointed to NLB cluster IP address before create new Site. If your site will never be visible from Internet you can use just "mycompanyportal". If you create new Web Application it make sense to create new app pool for that but use common user for all Sites app pools. If you will use the same app pool for all Web Application a crash in one application will affects all Web Applications that are running under this app pool. Oleg
