i just created a connection between excel and sql,i want to be able to maintain the connection with the database so that each time the workboob is refreshed update can be made on the excel workbook that i saved as an html page.

Where do you deploy your excel - on sharepoint or is it just a standalone excel file on file share? What version of Excel do you use? Sergei

standalone excel file,but will asp.net web report be helpful.

It is not possible without connection if that html page is linked with the server then it moght possible . If Excel is l;inked to server then you can directly data get from server each time you refresh excel sheet also. Abhay Sawant
