I am using wss 3.0 when I use stsadm -o enumsites and redirect to xml, some sites will get "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" Even central Admin page. Now, I cannot manage it anymore. Any solution or fix?

By the sound of it, the sites in question might be in an error state ( orphans, no ID or otherwise faluty) The ony option here would be to remove them , either using the Site menegement , Central Admin(if site = site collection ) or Object Model. But I feel the real issue is why "more and more " sites get into this state.. Victor

Hi, I think it is a permission issue. Please use the farm administrator to run this command. In addition, this account also should has the full control to your database. Hope it is helpful!Seven

I am using the farm admin but still cannot Acctualy is the domain admin, our security had not setup very tight.
