This is something similar to the following thread but i donot see any other events except the above ones. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/ilm2/thread/b0328258-4125-4ad4-9b2f-d54b9d91d9c8
Has anyone resolved this type of issue by installing FIM 2010 update packages or any other method? This MA was running happily till 2 days back and suddenly started behaving this way after a regular maintenance server restarts over the weekend.
Would appreciate any help in this regard.

tick the checkbox in MA properties "run this management agent in a separate process" to avoid affecting the FIM synchronization service if a crash happened on the oracle datasource client installed on your server.
what version of oracle you are working with ?
after doing the above try to re-run your import profile and see what kind of error happens in the event viewer ...

Hi Amer,
I did not get a chance to do the tip you described. The management agent started working after sometime so I am not sure what caused the problem.
Thanks

good to hear it's running again, however you need to make sure it will not be repeated again, so you need to investigate more, did you checked with oracle DBA, maybe there was some maintenance issues with the oracle DB server itself or some new
