ssrs print at bottom of the page
Hi all,Is there any way you can print a text at the bottom of a page without it actually being in a footer?.Actually, there is table above the text box so i dont know how long the table is gonna be. The text needs to be at the bottom of the page, not just below the table.Ideas?PC

Is there a specific reason you don't want the text to be in the Page Footer? That would obviously be the best choice for this type of implementation since that's its purpose.

This is because the text is in subreport and sub-reports footer are not visible in the main report.Even if that was not the case, I had another scenario where there are things in footer. Footer are rpeated on each page. I needed the text to be just above the footer, and in first page only.I managed that by adding enough blank space till the text appear at the end of page beofre it flowd into next page, but thats a temporary fix.Any other way to do this?

Hi,If the text is embeded in subreport, there will be no option to display it on the main report and print it out.thanks,Jerry

Why is this marked answered when it does not even come close to answering the question? I have the same issue as Polly Cassidy. How do I position a static text "signature line" at the bottom of the first page of a grou p (Not the entire report) and ensure that it prints there consistently every time the group item changes? In design view of the report I have detail fields and a subreport in the body or middle section just before the sugnature line. When I preview the report if the middle content above the static signature line is too long, I need it to continue to the following page without moving the signature line on the prior page of that same group. Using page footer section will not work. I have tried that. I am trying to convert from Crystal Reports and this is equivalent to Print at bottom of Page found in the section expert. CR does this without any problems. Anyone please help.
