ssrs 2008 export to word 2010
Hello, I am having an issue with the header on an rdl file (ssrs 2008) when I export to word 2010. The header gets cut off at the top of the page (about .5 inch). But when I export to a PDF file it is fine. If all our users exported only to pdf this would not be an issue, but unfortunately our users use both word and pdf to print out the reports. Thanks

Hi, The issue is caused because the report header exceeds the height word supported. With exporting to word, word cannot support the report header or footer height settings. So, the exceeded part of header will be cut off. See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc627455(SQL.100).aspx to learn some information about word limitations. thanks, Jerry

Thanks Jerry, That makes sense, our headers are quite large, since I cannot change the design I am encouring everyone to just use pdf. Amy
