Seriously?
Either you know it or you don't. Stuck with a specific issue on Error Handling? We'll be glad to help out. Looking for the fast-track to ace that interview? No help here.
What would happen if you got hired based on your 'knowledge' of SSIS Error handling, then the first project they put you on is to re-vamp a poorly written set of packages to include extensive Error Handling? You wouldn't know what to do. You going to admit
that to the boss? Or just jump in a possibly screw things up?
Better to be honest in the intervew and when they ask you, "What do you know about SSIS Error Handling?" you should respond, "I have poked around it some and read some good articles, but have no practical experience with it. I would love an opportunity to
learn more, though." (Turn that negative response into a positive.)
Bluffing your way through interview questions is a bad start to a relationship with someone who could eventually be your boss and decide if you get promoted or not. He/She finds out later that you lied in the interview, it reflects poorly on your character.Todd C - MSCTS SQL Server 2005 - Please mark posts as answered where appropriate.
