Hello experts, I developed my ssis package using vs 2008 and it uses web references to run microsoft reports. It is working awsome (thanks for everyone who helped me in it). Now I want to schedule it to run thru SQL Server agent and unfortunately we are using SQL Server 2005. I think it will not work in SQL Server 2005 as package is developed in VS 2008. Do you planing to deploy packages on SQL Server or it will on File System (i mean some C or D drive etc.) if its on loca drive you can use normal schedules and put command DTEXEC utility to execute packages. Gaurav Gupta http://sqlservermsbiblog.blogspot.com/

ok this sounds interesting. i never used dtexec (as learing ssis stuff), basically, i want to run ssis package everyday at certain time and yes it is sitting on server local drive. mark it as answer if it answered your question :)
