sql server stadard 2012 standanlone to alwayson failover cluster

hello!

We have an standalone installation of sql server 2012 standard and we would like to migrate to alwayson failover cluster. is it posible to do it directly or we need to reinstall sql server ? what would be the best way to move the current databases on local drive to shared resource ? Is there is any tutorial or video of how to do it ?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Yes, you need to take backup of all DB's and to reinstall the SQL server again, to configure Always on mode you need to follow several steps, please find the links it would be useful for you
