Hi! I installed sql server 2008 r2 from microsoft web site. It install sucessfully. As I start management studio and try to connect database server , it show error " Can not connect to my server name. It also show " Could not load fileor assembly System. Transection ,version =2.0.0.0, culture= neutral , publickey token = .. , The modual was expected to contain an assembly manifest. i have uninstall and install nearly five times. I also try to add sample Northwind database. but could not able to attach it. Pls help me. thank you

what is your .Net framework installed on your system? make sure you have .net framework 3.5 sp1 on your system.. Please try to install same on some other system and check that same issues on other machines.. Let us know your observation. Let us TRY this | My Blog :: http://quest4gen.blogspot.com/
