We have a report model created from report builder in SQL Server 2005 (with SP3). We can drag and drop the fields from one or more entities to the design area. Report can be generated with sort icons there. But only one field can be sortable. Others can not. I have notices that we can use the sort and group setting panel to select a group and sort by a field and then by another field. But this setting has not affects on the reports generated. No other fields can be sortable except for one field. The User Sorting has been enabled in the report properties. Is there anything missing in the model building process? Any inputs will be appreciated?

Found out after played for a while. It seems that the sorting is per group only. No sure 2008 version has the cross group sorting now.
