sort in ascending order
I have a column called amount, i want to sort it in descending order. i am using SSRS 2005 .can someone please help me...is there a way i can sort this in report...msmustard

In the Table properties, go to Sorting tab and add a sorting condition on the amount column.

Hi,
1. Go to detail Group property
2. Click on Sorting .
3. Click on Add
4. Select your desired column (Set A-Z for ASC or Z-A for Desc)

it gives me option of ascending/descending in drop down which i selected but it is not sorting. i right clicked on the group , then properties which took me to a grouping and sorting window, where in sorting i added my field =fields!amount.value and in the
drop down selected descending. but it is not sorting ...Please helpmsmustard
