Try this: Upload the employee training stp from Microsoft into the new farm and create a site using it. Use stsadm export to a flat file on original farm. Use stsadm import on new farm to the site you created in step 1. Jeff Holliday, MCTS - Solutions Architect - Portals and Collaboration - Ensynch, Inc

I agree with Jeff. Site templates do not migrate security permissions / user associations.Andrew Milsark, MCTS Fpweb.net - The SharePoint Hosting Pioneer Blog : http://blog.fpweb.net Twitter : http://www.twitter.com/amilsark

Great Answer - worked like charm.... soome web part show up twice but i have simply closed them site looks exact i dont know if i took correct step. To import .wsp templates simply use below 5 commands after successfull completing these commands, you can create the sites using those custom templates. these commands has to run from commandline, stsadm command is located in:C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\BIN\"run all below 4 commands at this location" stsadm -o addsolution -filename "C:\all templates\JobRequisition.wsp"stsadm -o deploysolution -name JobRequisition.wsp -allowgacdeployment -immediate"stsadm -o copyappbincontentstsadm.exe -o execadmsvcjobsiisreset to import .stp sharepoint templates simply use the administration web site and log in with admin credential and import the template in site settings, site templates and import ( do not import .wsp from here it will not work) stsadm.exe -o backup -url http:// -filename C:\SPBackups\FullFarmBackup.dat To move the site with content First make the site using core template plain no data in it and then from old farm export and then import on to new farm using stsadmstsadm -o export -url http://my.domain.com/sites/my/etsm/default.aspx -filename c:\estm.txt -includeusersecurity -versions 4stsadm -o import -url http://my.domain.com/training/ -filename c:\estm.txt -includeusersecurityShift the Ctrl in our hands and we will Alt the world.
