Hi Slave,

Thanks for posting your issue, It seems that your User Profile Service is not running. Restart the User Profile Service if it has been stopped. Also, try out below mentioned steps

  1.        Go to central admin, Select Web application URL and click on User Policy --> For all required admins,Farm account users provide permissions as all zones with full control.
  2.        Go to User Profile service(Any SA) and select the Permissions option and all above users give the same permissions.
  3.        Disable the firewall settings in all Farm servers.

For more details, you can browse below mentioned URL

Dear Dharmendra,

I have tried the solutions that you gave me, but it still not working...

maybe I misunderstood some of steps, so could you please tell, more details.

and the about step 2, I selected the permissions option, but can't found any about "giving the same permissions to all above users."

when the workflow status got cancel, then I got the other feedback.

PS: it doesn't relate any "app step permission grant..etc" because the workflow haven't started yet and it just a very simple workflow that only can change the list status and the workflow

I was in a similar situation where users with full control could run the workflow to completion, but contribute and under the workflow would end up cancelled. None of the common answers provided (App Step, App Permissions, User Profile sync Application, Applicaiton pool Settings, etc) worked for me.

The big issue was with the workflow configuration itself. **Be sure that the "Automatically Update The Workflow Status To The Current Stage Name" box is unchecked in SharePoint Designer**

Kudos to Paul Culmsee for the information http://www.cleverworkarounds.com/2013/12/22/trials-or-tribulation-inside-sharepoint-2013-workflowspart-3/

In SharePoint Designer 2013, there is an option to disable the updating of stage information. In the workflow settings screen, look for the option called Automatically update the workflow status to the current stage name and untick it.
