sharepoint 2013 calendar export event not exporting properly

Hi

I am using  OOTB Calendar list and want to export the Events from Export Event button on Custom Command tab. It exports the data into .ics file but if there are any hyperlinks or HTML tags existing in the list data, it is not exporting the details properly.

For instance any carriage returns turn into "                &" and the rest of the information from the details column is removed.

Is there any fix for this?

Hi,

I create a custom calendar list, then add a hyperlink in the Description column in the Calendar list and click Export Event button, then save it, now open it. It worked fine.

Could you please provide more detail information about how you added hyperlinks and HTML tads in the list data?

Try putting a few carriage returns and some text in there. When i do just a link in the description that works but if you hit enter after that and put in some text that is when the funny business starts.

Dissappearing text and sometimes %%% signs. Tried to upload a screenshot but my account is not verified.

I do not have onedrive cloud here at work and cannot even link in this forum. Can i email you an image? it really is just an image of an event just like you posted above but with a few enters (carriage returns) thrown in and more text and then on the right hand side the event as exported in outlook with it showing just the google link and nothing beneath it (even though text was added below that link in SharePoint)

Hello, have you had a chance to try hitting enter and entering text in the SharePoint calendar entry and then exporting it?
