scom 2007 r2 the cumulative update 2
1- For scom 2007 r2 the cumulative update 2 do you need to update all the agents? If so can it be pushed from the scom console if the clients are hosted in a hosted enviroment without domain trust? 2- When applying updates to the agents do the systems require a reboot? 2- In the KB article 979257 The Updated support tools... What is the SRSUpgrade.exe for and does it need to be run?

1. You need to update all manually installed agents manually (or with ConfigMgr). For all agents that was installed from a console (push install with Discovery Wizard) you need only to approve it in Pending Management. 2. In most cases - no, it doesn't. 3. NO. This tool you need to run only as a part of Reporting component reinstall process. THis tool resets SQL Server Reporting Services instance to default settings.http://OpsMgr.ru/

Is there a patch for the agents portion of the update? Is there a newer version of the agent available so we do not have to run the installation then the update?

Can you download an updated version of the scom 2007 r2 agent with the rollup patch intergrated? Or do you need to slip stream the installation package with the patch?
