sccm win 7 deployment collection update issue
So, everything seems to be working with my setup, however if I have a collection that has a mistake (one or more of the computers has the wrong recorded MAC address), I remove and re-add that PC. The computer gets added to the collection right away with
no issues, shows it has an advertisement, but the problem is that it takes an average of 45 minutes for computer to recognize it has a job waiting and before it starts to image. Is there anything I can do to speed that up???

Machine policy refresh... do a manual one or lower your refresh rate. I do 30 min.

Is there a way to do that from the sccm server itself, or just the desktop??? We are switching from a Novell environment to a windows one, one site at a time, so all machines are essentially "bare-metal", so I do not have that option from the configuration
manager on the desktop.

You can use the Right click tools to initiate a polocy refresh from the site server.Kent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

I must be missing something, because I cannot find what you are referring to... No reference to "Policy Refresh"

Follow the kent's suggestion, download and install the right click tool on your ConfigMgr server and you will be able to initiate a policy refresh on all computers
