i am new to sccm 2007 i deployed a new machine with sccm client push install.The computer collection console shows client yes but the packages which i advertised are not received to the client nor the program download in the control panel shows any downloading program.SCCM client is installed as ccmexex.exe file is running and in the services SMShostagent is there...i added mozilla firefox in the task sequence but it was'nt installed and the log file does not showed any error in the client installation... please help... thanks.

Hi Pranay, You should first check whether your MP are proper functioning. Then check the Distmgr.log on your SCCM server, Distmgr.log contains package creation, compression, and delta replication data. Go to client check LocationServices.log to see if error occured in client finding MP and DP. Check PolicyEvaluator.log to see whether new policy recieved. Check Execmgr.log to see whether any error happend while advertisement running. Thanks

thanks torsten for ur reply... winrar was added in the task sequence after the sccm client .And i am trying to advertise applications like mozilla firefox, wordweb but the sccm client is not receiving it...

things to chack: Chack the the pacages have been deployed to your distibution servers, check the package satus logs. Check the advertisement status logs does it say that any clients have recieved the package? and what status does it have? Louis
