sccm 2007 SMP
Hi all, i want to use network shared path as SMP instead of local path on the sccm server. Actually i want to store user data to network location rather than local path. whenever i try to perform replace in sccm-2007 i got the error this is due to SMP being on the network location. Is there any way to set the SMP path in UNC format this may be the case when we want to save user data to some other system's shared folder. Please help me to resolve this. Thanks, Vishwajeet.

It cannot be a network folder. If you want to save state migrate contents to a network location, try to map the folder as a drive on the SMP server, and set as available offline. See if it works. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
