So, I wanted to go back to W 8.1 - you erased all my programs.

Really, was that the best to do?

You might connect an external USB mouse to start troubleshooting.

What is the model of your device?

When you do upgrade it won't remove your files, what files or program have been removed?

Open Device Manager > Locate Synaptic or TouchPad driver > Right Click to select Uninstall > Reboot > Let Windows detect the hardware > Now get connect to the Internet > Update TouchPad driver.

Do you have a keyboard?  Even better do you have a keyboard with a Numeric keypad?  Then you could use Mousekeys for your pointer device.  Otherwise, turn on your speakers and try using Narrator or turn on your microphone and use Speech recognition (e.g., for Mouse grid).  Etc.

However, usually "clicking" on a link using your keyboard is as simple as tabbing to it and pressing Spacebar.   Other optimization may be possible by pressing F3 or Ctrl-f to get the keyboard focus somewhere faster than tabbing.  Etc.
