Hello, Has anybody run System Center Essnetials 2007 SP1 and DFS-R replication on the same machine (physical or virtual)? Will there be any conflicts? The virtual machine i plan to setup will be a DFS-R file and print server. And have SCE 2007 SP1 with SQL express. I havnt found any articles online with this type of configuration. Hello Charles, Firstly, I would suggest you using SCE 2010 instead of SCE 2007 SP1: System Center Essentials 2010 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/systemcenter/essentials/ff631054.aspx Secondly, it's not good for Essentials server to share a same machine with other applications. Essentials server does not have a good compatibility. And even there's not any conflict, it reduce the performance of the Essentials server.
