running Adobe Flash in Steady State
When I have Disk Protection on, the user profile locked, default High settings for the User Settings > Windows Restrictions & Feature Restrictions, and no Blocked Programs, websites that use flash inform the user that they must install Flash. When Disk Protection is set to allow permanent changes, the user profile is unlocked, no restrictions set for User Settings > Windows Restrictions & Feature Restrictions, and no Blocked Programs, the sites display flash. Without going over the myriad in-between settings I have tried, is there a specific setting(s) that will allow Flash to run, while the user still has as much protection as possible. Thank you for your help, I had no luck finding a similar TID.

Yes, you can disable the restrictions under User Settings Feature Restrictions Internet Explorer restrictions Toolbar options Third party extension buttons. In this way, you should be able to install Flash on the computer. Hope this helps! Sean Zhu - MSFT
