reportviewer with https
Hi, we have configured ssl on our report server. We configured it to use both port 80 and 443 as we want to have ssl on certain reports only. Other reports we are accessing through http only. when I go to reporting services report list using https and change the view to webpartdetail and open the report which I want to be opened through secure channel (https) it opens the report in http instead of https. It actually opens the reportviewer.aspx page in https but redirects to http. My understang is that in it is happening in reportviewer only. Can any one help us in fixing this.rani

Hi RaniSK, According to your description, you have set SSL on report server, when you open the report using reportviewer.aspx page in https, but it redirects to http. As for ReportViewer.aspx is working on IIS, when we open the report via reportviewer, I suspect that the IIS services redirect the URL to use http, maybe we can write code in ReportView control to fix the page to open in https mode. Please understanding that we are troubleshooting reporting service issue mainly in this forum, the issue we are experiencing is beyond our specificity. I suggest you to post the thread to our Visual Studio Report Controls forum: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vsreportcontrols/threads or post to IIS forum: http://forums.iis.net/1052.aspx Hope you can get the issue resolved soon with helps from appropriate team. Thanks, Eileen
