Hello We have configured some Access databases as linked servers in SQL server. They are stored on another server in the same domain and accessed over UNC. Reports based on this databases can be opened if we use IE on the server while logged in as a domain user. When we open the page from remote, we are prompted for username and password. We enter our domain user credentials. The report viewer shows up, but only displays an error: "Das Datenquellenobjekt des OLE DB-Anbieters 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' für den Verbindungsserver 'DEMO' kann nicht initialisiert werden." which means something like "The data source object of the OLE DB-Provider 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' for the linked server 'DEMO' could not be initialized.". We tried to set the credentials for the share in the properties of the linked server under security. But this does not work. Thank you for your help!
