removed content remains on DPs, especially on Secondary site

Hi guys,

we have found some orphaned Contents on our DPs, especially on Secondary Site Servers which are also holding the DP role. We can see in the Status Messages "Distribution Manager successfully removed package "XYZ" from Distribution Point...". When we check this with the Content Library Explorer it still Shows up in gray with an * and the file still remains in the SCCMContentLib$ and it is not shared with any other packages. We also have an AntiVirus exclusion here, so there shouldnt be any file locks caused by the AV. At this Point we dont want to delete files manually to avoid "unexpected" behavior. Any thoughts on this? Is that some Kind of "by design" Thing? Can we delete orphaned files?

We planning to Upgrade next friday. Btw. , when we upgrade to SP1 + CU1 (and KB3084586) and we use the Automatic Client Update that Comes with CU1, are the Clients moving directly from to 5.00.7958.1501 to 5.00.8239.1203 in one step?
