Hi If the disk was already unhealthy then the recovery wouldn't run retrospectively so you might want to ensure that all the disks are healthy before changing the override. Which screen is run automatic false. Most of the configuration shows the default values, not the actual values. You can see that easily on other monitors e.g. disk space. When you set an override value, if you go back and look at the threshold tab then this will still just show default values. What do you see if you view overrides - either from the monitor itself, or from the override report or from the overrides node in the authoring? Do you see this override against the servers \ group you expect? Also, be careful with this if the servers are virtualised. You could potentially kick off defrags against a large number of virtual servers which are using the same underlying storage. To reset the health state of the monitor, you'd need to use the reset health button in health explorer if using the GUI. Recalculate health won't work for most monitors: http://thoughtsonopsmgr.blogspot.co.uk/2010/02/bringing-monitors-back-to-healthy-state.html Cheers Graham Regards Graham New System Center 2012 Blog! - http://www.systemcentersolutions.co.uk View OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/

It should - if you look at the recovery task against the monitor - you'll see that there is a check box at the bottom that states "recalculate monitor state after recovery finishes" and this is the default setting. You can look to see if this is the case in health explorer afterwards.
