prioritize a list of webparts, with audiences?
Hi All.We are making a new intranet using MOSS 2007, we would like to prioritize a list of webparts and the way they are listed.Example: lets say we have 2 user groups, and 5 different webparts.Group one, should see the webparts in the following order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5Group two, should see the webparts in the following order: 4, 3, 2, 1, 5Is it posible to prioritize upon user or user group?Kind regardsMorten

You mean the display order, top to bottom? At first thought there are two ways. Both a little messy. Well, ok, very messy.1.) Create the two sets, then adjust the audience settings.i.e. form has 1,2,3,4,5 web parts with group one as the audience. Then add 4,3,2,1,5 with group two as the audience.2.) Crack open sharepoint designer and sharpen your javascript skills. Not sure how you'd alter the rendering...please post if you succeed...at first thought use xsl to call the various templates based upon the group...but they'd have to be the same list, or once again choose to display/not display web parts in the order you desire.Where's sympmarc? That guys a genius. You might try reposting under design and customization....
