please answer specific to this question
GPO looping back processing is linking user settings configuration to specific computers so i have created a policy and enabled loop back processing with few settings like screensaver, etc. my question loop back processing will work only specific this policy? i mean i have linked to computer OU only  (with merge or replace settings). my question is loop back processing policy will work only specfic policy and settings in that policy? please answer specific to this question

Hello goldenstarganesh,

NO.

When you activate Loopback processing this will apply all the User Configuration settings placed on all the GPOs linked to the OU where the Computer object is placed.

I can advice you to read this two short posts in order to have a clear understanding of the way that Loopback Processing works because there is a huge difference between Merge and Replace.

Windows Server: Understand User Group Policy Loopback Processing Mode

Back to the Loopback: Troubleshooting Group Policy loopback processing, Part 2
Hope this info help you to reach your goal. :D

Thanks "apply all the User Configuration settings placed on all the GPOs linked to the OU where the Computer object is placed" meaning GPO back processing policy will apply only linked OU's i am right? and only specific settings will apply e.g i have created a policy for screen saver with loop back processing settings is enabled and linked to computer OU. so it apply only those settings meaning user settings configuration to computer OU i am right? with out loop back processing not possible to apply user settings configuration to computer OU i am right?

Yes, if you do not enable Loopback Processing the screensaver that the user receive will be the one configured at User Configuration level on the GPO linked or inherited to the OU where the User is placed.

I missed to add inherited GPOs on the "apply all the User Configuration settings placed on all the GPOs linked or inherited to the OU where the Computer object is placed"
