I need to log tasks' memory usage at hourly intervals -- a  snapshot at the end of each hour. Under perfmon>add counters>memory I don't see the same headings that I need and that task manager processes shows: working set, peak working set, private working set, commit size. Can I log the statistics that I want with perfmon? Some other tool?

The items you are looking for are under Process in perfmon.  You should be able to collect them.

thanks. for some reason "peak working set" isn't there. maybe i can collect that by analyzing the log.
