people picker pulling old values sharepoint
Issue: I have my people picker to pull values from my AD as well as my SQL form authentication database. HOWEVER.. if i delete or add a user its A. not reflecting the new user right away and B. it is showing old deleted users. Is there a way to "Clear the cache"? or remove these old users from showing up? Thanks in advance.Steve Kopp

Hi, This is because that People Picker would check the user information list first in SharePoint site, if the user is in the user information list, then returned the user information. If the user is not in the user information list, it will check the user from AD. Because the user was added to the site before disabled from AD, so you can see him in the people picker, you could deleted the user from the site collection to remove him from displayed in people picker. Hope the information can be helpful.Xue-Mei Chang

Hi Xue, I am faced with the same issue, but I don't seem to see the old users under the users from the site collection, could you please help elaborate more on this section. When under the site collection can i see this users I tired navigating to _catalogs/users/simple.aspx. but I still can't see these users. It would be of great help if you could point out exactly where we can find this DB of the people picker or the exact timer job which we need to run in order to re-crawl the entire People picker DB.
