I am tring to drill to a report and pass two hard coded mdx values to a report with a multi value parameter which has available values set . this does not populate the parameter drop dow corectly. If I take the available values list away then it works fine but i have check and the values i am tring to pass are in the available values list.

i have set the parameter up correctly i guess this may just be a limitation , what im tring to do it hard code in the drill down to pass two different categories to the drill down report eg"{[category].[category].&[1],[category].[category].&[2]} "this does not work when the drill down param has available values as soon as i set the available values to none then it works . I can just set up a parameter that is hard coded to these two categories and that parameter down but thought that hard coding would be the same.

Does the drill down report's parameter also has the same value for available values as the one you are trying to pass from the main report. It has got to match exactly. Even a characters difference make the parameter not to accept any values you are trying to pass. Please confirm that the expression that is set to pass values exactly matches the values in the drill down report.
