osd -Adding Drivers
Hi Every one, Could yoy please explain what is difference to adding drivers in win pe image and adding drivers to drivers tab in osd in sccm. if we will not add drivers in winpe image what will happen ? Stephene

Hi, The drivers in WinPE are just during the boot process in WinPE when you reinstall a computer, you must add the necessary NIC drivers there otherwise you will not be able to access the network/SCCM Server during the OS deployment Task Sequence. the drivers you add in the console under Drivers can be used both in the Boot Image(Winpe) and durng the installation. While creating task sequence we get option to locate drivers after windows is getting instal.why we use tat.if we disable it what will happen.?only add in winpe.Please explain in deep.thx in adavance.I am little bit clear with yr previous questionStephene

i dint get the previous answer "the drivers you add in the console under Drivers can be used both in the Boot Image(Winpe) and durng the installation. " given by you. Please explain this .I hope then i will get complete idea abt this.Stephene
