I am trying to update a password for one of oracle connection in a SSIS package and getting following error: Test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. Error while trying to retrieve text for error ORA-01019 I am on 64 bit Windows 2008 R2 server. I have both Oracle 32 bit and 64 bit clients installed. I am not sure whats the issue here. I am able to connect to Oracle via sql plus. I also tried to toggle between 64 bit debugging setting but didnt work. any thoughts?SQL Pro

Did the package work with the old password? Sometimes, even though the test conn fails the package may succeed. Also let us know how the connection is configured in details.Arthur My Blog
