nvraid Event 11 error
Hello. I installed Windows 10 on my desktop computer recently. I  was impressed with the changes, but one significant defect has frustrated me beyond words. I am a PC gamer, and I cannot run my games for more than 10-15 minutes before the entire system freezes up and I have to hold down the power button to get it to turn off. When I checked the event viewer, it said the cause was nvraid and that the Event ID was 11. I looked this up and found similar results, but most were irrelevant as they were from several years ago. This did not happen with Windows 8, and the same goes for Windows 8.1. If I could be given an explanation to why this is happening and a possible solution, I would be eternally grateful.

Hi,

According to your description, this should be Graphic Card driver problem, you can access its official website to check and download the latest driver for test.

On the other hand, please check Windows update to make sure it was upgrade to be latest.

If problem persists, feel free let us know.

Roger, NVRaid is the RAID software for nVidia based chipset motherboards.

Event ID 11 seems to indicate there is an disk error or other problem with the RAID array.

User should check RAID software from Windows or boot into RAID BIOS to determine if the array is healthy.

@Tripredacus: RAID BIOS stated that raid was healthy.

@Roger Lu: My graphics card driver is perfectly up to date, along with Windows.

Has this happened only the one time or does it happen every time you try to play games?

Do you have RAID monitoring software installed?

This happens every single time I play a game. If it was just once I wouldn't be so bothered by it.

And no, I do not have RAID monitoring software installed.

As Tripredacus pointed out, the error you are receiving indicates something is causing instability in the storage controller driver. The very first thing I would try is updating the storage driver from the motherboard manufacturer or NVIDIA.
