hi , I have installed central administration in my system, but am not able to see data view webpart in the existing webpart list. any one have idea what the problem is ?? [I don't have share point designer on my system] ?? Thanks Prashanth

The Data View Web Part is not part of the installed system The usual way to get it is via SPD 2007 where creating one is a menu option. Alternatively (and less common as more difficult) you can also create one by programming.
