no Assigned To and Affected User fields available for custom Incident Management views

Hi,

Unlike the built-in views for Incident Management, when creating a new View, the Assigned To and Affected User fields are not available for Display.  Has anyone found a way to display the Assigned To and Affected User fields for new Views?

Thanks

Hi APang,

You will need to select a combination class (TypeProjection) instead of the standard Incident class. Out of the box there are only a few available. If you don't want to save the view in Microsoft's own MP, then I think the only option to go for is "Incident (advanced)"

BUT it is much better performance-wise to select a combination class that is limited to exactly the relationships you want.

Example from my own:

The next issue you might encounter is that the column names for Affected User and Assigned To are not named "Affected User"/"Assigned To", but rather: "Display Name":

For this you will need to export and edit the Management Pack and change the displaystring from "Display Name" to whatever you want.

For this and other reasons, you can get view-builders out there to make the process a littler easier.
