newbie FIM question
I have a small lab environment set up, and I've brought in a couple MAs from our ILM 2007 prod setup, and am experimenting with FIM. One of the MAs I brought over is an HR flat file MA, and I'm provisioning to a SQL Server MA. So the flat file HR MA has existing attribute flows, and the existing SQL Server MA has attribute flows. I've created an inbound sync rule to apply to the HR MA, and an outbound sync rule for the SQL Server MA. Can the sync rules be used along with the attribute flows? Do the sync rules trump only the attribute flows that it contains, or are all attribute flows no longer expected to work? I'm a little uncertain with the behavior I'm seeing. Thanks, Greg

Both can work.. Classic rules always apply last and will overwrite any sync rules for the same target attribute. Inbound sync rules must match the relationship criteria. Outbound Sync Rules must be applied in a workflow in order to apply and the Scope must be valid if set. Eric
