Hi Netha,
Pie chart can not show negative values, if the final outcome for a category is negative, how the area to disaply can be caluated.
You can use the absolute value to get the category dispalyed in chart.- Chintak (My Blog)

Hi There
What do you mean by negative values?
Is that what you after?
offcourse this is not a good way to dispaly the negative values in this case
column or bar charts are a much more appropriate choice. Why? Because they can represent data that falls to the left of or below a baseline

Thanks Chintak/Syed. I fully agree with you on displaying negative values in pie chart. However, we are migrating cognos reports to ssrs and in cognos it is showing negative values in Pie chart and our client need same functionality in ssrs.
Kindly advise me how can i implement it in ssrs.
thanks

Hi There
I am not sure why these values are not displaying for you. you can see from my Pie chart these are displaying. What is the data type of your Values
are you trying to display % or actual values ?
Please update
Many thanks

Hi RR Netha,
When using a pie chart, we should pay attention to the following data considerations for display:
Pie charts display each data group as a separate slice on the chart. You must add at least one data field and one category field to the pie chart. If more than one data field is added to a pie chart, the pie chart will display both data fields in the same
chart.Null, empty, negative, and zero values have no effect when calculating ratios. For this reason, these values are not shown on a pie chart. If you want to visually indicate these types of values on your chart, change the chart type to be something other
than a pie chart.
