Hi, The log entry you gave us is a succeeded log, but not a error log, so I think this is a normal behavior of SharePoint Search. If you find there is something wrong with your farm, please let me know the representation of the issue and more error logs in order to do further research. Hope the information can be helpful. -lambertPosting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

It is just recently our log files grow to 74,000 KB every 30 minutes and are full of mssearch.exe messages similar to that one. I am wondering if it indicates any problem with our search and index process.

We've started recieving the same log entries, with log files blowing up to 500MB each during the crawl. Why is a "successful" entry seen as a "medium" event level? Why not verbose? I don't want to truncate the medium entries from the log files, but this is creating 6GB of logs during a crawl. How can I trim these specific entries, as they're successful and I don't need to see them?
