My sharepoint SQL server is heavily burdened by mssearch.exe which runs on sharepoint frontend server. In fact there are 2 processes of mssearch. First i thougt about some lost search crawls, but there were non active. Then i just stopped sharepoint search service and one of two mssearch.exe dissapeared. But the second (evil one) stayed and continued to load my sql server. So, how can i understand which infrastructure mssearch.exe process belongs to ? I tried even to stop the process manually, but it starts again.

These 2 processes belows to following 2 services: 1. Office SharePoint Server Search 2. Windows SharePoint Services Search

That`s it! I forgot about WSS Search.
