I am trying to set up a GAL SYNCH ma with an external forest Exchange 2003 server. However, when I get to Configure Attribute Flow step, I get the error "Export Attribute Flow Validation error: 'msExchRecipientDisplayType' of 'contact' is no longer available" and cannot continue any further. I have several working GAL Synch with both Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 servers, all in external forests. I deleted the connector spaces for all the other GAL SYNCH MA's and then again tried creating the MA for synch with the Exchange 2003 server, but get the same error. Has anyone run across this error before?TAG

I think this is by design. I think you can safely remove all export attribute flows towards that attribute on that 2003 MA. And you can deselect it all toghter on that MA. Check Exchange 2007 and Recipient Type Details This attribute was added for Exchange 2007. An Exchange 2003 forest does not/have uses this attribute. Make sure to leave it in place on the 2007/2010 MA's though. http://setspn.blogspot.com
