Hi, Try not to copy report server tempdb from the old server and then try again. Please share the results. CheersPlease Mark as Answer or Vote As Helpful if a post solves your problem. MCP, MCTS, MCITP

the microsoft documentation says that even the reportservertem needs to be copied and restored plus, this instance that i moing to is a named instance and the ReportServer is named ReportServer$DSSNTX . if you need me to restore the original reportservertempdb , i will do that, any harm ??

If you can, just test the solution I mentioned. Just restore "ReportServers$YOUR_INSTANCE_NAME" and encryption key as well but not ReportServer TempDB.
