Hi If you import the IIS Management Packs then these should be discovered as IIS web sites - they appear to be part of you DPM (Data Protection Manager) environment. Cheers GrahamView OpsMgr tips and tricks at http://systemcentersolutions.wordpress.com/

They are monitored by default if you import the right IIS MP, you should see them in the Health Explorer of that particular server and in one of the IIS views

Are you sure nobody else disabled automatic monitoring? Have you tried creating an override for one of those unmonitored objects? Can you post the overrides window? You give us little to get an idea of the situation, You said you try to monitor them...what did you already try to troubleshoot this? Or did you only conclude they're not monitored?

Can you actually show the state view for IIS Websites from the monitoring console and check the state directly from there. If they are showing as "Not Monitored" then check for any warning alerts around IIS Discovery on those servers. Hi Could you then check for alerts (these could be warnings or informational) about IIS discovery errors on these servers. Also, check the OperationsManager event log on these servers to see if there are any errors or warnings around discovery failures. I looked up the MP on the MP wiki and it looks like the ASP.net applications, app pools, etc are all discovered as optional. Check out the details here: http://scommanagementpackwiki.viacode.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=22109 Not all pages are going to be discovered. Do read the guide on how to configure this MP.Microsoft Corporation
