Hi,
Can I use the SCOM to monitor the server temperature? and if the temperature is 35above, the system will send email to alert us via email.
Please help.

Hi,
You need some device that will measure the temperature and then report it to Ops Mgr. That is often a device that communicate back to Ops Mgr with SNMP.Anders Bengtsson | Microsoft PFE | blog at http://www.contoso.se

we're using the Dell R710 and 2950, do you mean I should ask the Dell engineer to send me the management pack and then import it to scom?
