missing attachments from @mac.com and @me.com email address in Document Library
SP 2007 Hello, We have a weird situation where any emails sent from @mac.om or @me.com, no attachments are getting saved in their respective folders. All other email domains do not exhibit this behavior, their attachments are found in their folders. We know that the attachments are there, the emails are also sent to a shared mailbox which do have the attachments. For some reason, Sharepoint is dropping them. For Incoming E-Mail Settings, Save all attachments in folders grouped by e-mail sender is chosen to group the attachments in folders. The original email is not saved.

Maybe your spam filter is kicking in and ignoring emails from @mac.om and @me.com. Those look fake to me. I don't think SharePoint is the culprit here. Maybe the users who have write permission don't have these email address domains in their profile. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd309569(office.12).aspx Section Enabling Incoming e-mail Brian Bedard, MCTS - pioneeringsharepoint.blogspot.com - Twitter:@tigertoy

If you are referring to the inbound/outbound email spam filter we have setup, that is not the issue. Both the shared mailbox and Sharepoint are behind the filter, so if the sharedmailbox is getting the attachments, then Sharepoint should also get the attachments. If there are built in filters on Sharepoint, then that is what I would like to know. I have not found any information that Sharepoint does its own filtering.
