minimum permission to manage users/groups?
Hi, I need to grant minimum permission to a group, so that members of that group can add users to sharepoint groups as desired. how can i achieve it? ThanksAndrew Chen Interested in BI related technologies

Hi Andrew, as far as I know the first group which will be used to manage the second group needs to be owner of the second group and must have at least read permissions to the site. Hope this helps MOSS_Test_Dummy

Hi andrew, You'll need to create a new role for this, check here : > Site Settings > Permissions > Permission Levels > Add a Permission Level check Site Permissions - Create and change permission levels on the Web site and assign permissions to users and groups." name it "Group Managers" Et voila!
