migrating the web front end server
hi
we have got two web front end servers(virtuals) having windows 2003 standered edition/MOSS installed with memory limitation of 4 gig. we are going to create two new web front end servers with windows 2003 enterprise edition so that memory could
be increased to 8 gig and migrate the existing web front end servers to the newly created servers. could anybody tell me what are the implications for the servers migrations;
1. do we need additional MOSS licences?
2. steps to follow for the servers migration
3. any other guidelines
any help would be much appreciated

They have MOSS installed on them even if only the WFE version, so yes you do need MOSS licenses for them. (Provided these are *additional* servers - your text wasn't 100% clear on that)
2. and 3 are admin questions so moving to the Admin forum for them.

Hi TanUk,
I agree with Mike. Since your issue is related to licensing, you can access Worldwide Microsoft Licensing Sites
http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/worldwide.aspx to find contact
information in your locations.
