Hello guys, we need some advice, we have 20 load balanced MOSS environments (SP2 with Oct2009CU) - 2 Web Front Ends - where the first server hosts all of the moss services (central admin, search, index, query). We have a requirement now to decomission the 1st server for cost reduction and needs to move everything to the second node. Our first goal was to move the Central Admin which were able to using the Sharepoint wizard. Unfortunately the other services still resides on the 1st node. We believe that when we stop/start the search service, we would have to recreate the index again. Will there be any alternatives for this? Also, the Office Server Web Services web site still resides on the first node. Are there any other means to move it to the second one? Any links, thoughts and suggestion will be appreciated. Thank You
